Today, January 19th, 2026, we commemorate the efforts of the Late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He advocated for nonviolent resistance to overcome oppression. Today, many may feel oppressed, without hope and in despair. Still, we must all continue to have faith and believe that better is coming! In 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his famous, “I Have a Dream” speech, where he envisioned a future of hope and equality. Today, let us meditate on what freedom looks like for each of us and what freedom looks like for others. Let us practice kindness, and stand together in faith believing better is coming!
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” – Romans 12:12.
